  1. Found a YouTube series affiliated with PBS called SpaceTime. It is absolutely intriguing. Here is one of my favorites (I played probably like a dozen in a row thru automatic “Up Next” pivoting).
  2. Post interesting videos about space and astronomy. Also discuss if you have the intellectual capacity to.
  3. Hey TRED, Very interesting read as it seems that you and I both are going through a similar process. I probably won't ever explicitly renounce gaming (I may eventually get Civ VI and Halo 6 when possible), but I've come to realize that my previous love for gaming was just a preparatory love affair that was getting me ready for the real world. I always wanted to make a puzzle map, but I realize that everyday life is a puzzle a hundred times more dynamic than any puzzle map I could make in a Halo game. Competitive racing was an expression of my love for level playing fields and striving towards goals. HT Supercross Season 6-7 in Halo 4 was absolutely the peak for me in these terms. That truly was a wonderful experience. But being employed part-time and attending college courses about topics such as Digital Circuitry also gives me this. Part of growing up is realizing that all of your imaginative childhood passions existed as preparation for their final application in the real world for pursuing real goals. I also find it interesting that we both are finding a new interest in religion. I've been going back and forth between a Lutheran and Catholic church for the past few months. I appreciate the beautiful organ music and choir at the Catholic church and the philosophical sermons--very refreshing to me in such a chaotic world. I'm in love with the idea of transcendental and eternal truths. I've also started a personal philosophical blog to contribute to in my spare time. I always admired your determination in forging so many unique tracks. And you got a lot of shit from a lot of people who found whatever reason to give you it, but you stuck through and continued with your passion. That's about all I have to say. Good luck TRED. And I'll add God bless. Mike

  6. ... knees weak, arms are heavy
  7. Just cancelled my XBL Gold subscription for now (It officially ends Sept. 21). I'll probably come back for Halo 6.

  10. I'm very excited at the possibility of Halo 4 racing again. Now with the perspective of 3-4 years time passed, you realize how good we had it for that game in particular. Maybe we'll even get that modded game type back with random timed gate drops and lap times. My concern stems from the terrible connectivity I've experienced on H3 in MCC, and the possibility that that extends to the stand-alone experience.
  11. I'm working on a Halo 4 Supercross track on MCC.
  12. Overlook SX - Halo: Reach - Purpledinosaur0 To self-elect - and to disobey direct orders from Cassel - I think Overlook SX, although going through quite a bit of variation, provided some great SX racing for its time. Whitewater National - Halo 4 - King Edward I This track was late in the lifespan of Halo 4 but reinvigorated a lot of people's interest in competitive racing at the time. I remember a lobby of 10 or so people racing on this map competitively for no specific reason because it was so enjoyable. As an aside, this track won overall in Best of Halo 4. Asimov Beach/Stadium - Halo: Reach - Jeffh3962 This track may not be remembered well, but it was forged on the map Tempest and took advantage of it with a really distinct endurocross section with logs and grass. It's one of my personal favorites. It also was very technical and featured 3 or so split rhythms. Special Mention: A.51 Motocross - Halo 2 Anniv. - MtnDew97 This track was very ambitious when being forged and I doubted its completion while watching him forge it, but it did get done. It boasted at least a minute long lap time (as far as I remember) and raced very competitively with a unique approach to the placement of terrain
  13. That looks pretty sick. Let us/me know when you're testing, I'd be happy to do so.
  14. If we do that we would either need to do just 8 races like in the NOS, or do a lot of the tracks twice.

  16. I'm of the opinion to skip Halo 5 altogether as I don't very much enjoy the mongoose.

  20. Hello.
  21. Best wishes Nuked. HT is here with you. Ive suffered from depression too, but no where near as severe. Currently attending an outpatient program at a mental health ward for it though.
