HT Formula One Rulebook

* If you violate any rule severely you wont get a warning. its straight to Black Flag or Any Punishment

1. Incidences

1.1) Wrecks are reported if they are seen as the list below.

1.2) caused a collision

1.3) forced a driver off the track

1.4) illegaly prevented a proper overtaking maneuver by a driver

1.5) illegaly blocked another driver during overtaking.

2. Flags

2.1) Green Flag – Race has started or in session

2.2) Red Flag – Race is stopped for numbers of reasons, black screen, Connection Problems, Track Problems etc.

2.3) Black Flag – Disqualification for driver for causing multiple incidents in one race or doing something very severe ex. illegal blocking on Monaco.

2.4) White Flag – Last lap in racing session

2.5) Checkered Flag – Race session is over

2.6) Black/White Flag – driver has committed a Penalty of some sort.

3. Grand Prix Races

3.1) Racing Colors are a must at this point

3.2) at the Beginning of the race everyone lines up in the positions of qualifying

3.3) Everyone waits until the next 10 seconds to race ,unless told other wise.

3.4) No Cheating

3.5) No CONTACT

3.6) No CORNER DIVING

3.7) No CORNER CUTTING

3.8) No Wrecking Other Drivers

3.9) No DEMO BLOCKING

3.9) No Driving backwards

3.10) No Using the Run-offs as an Advantage

3.11) ALL OTHER HALOTRACKS RACING RULES APPLY

3.12) at the end of the race line up in pit row or on run-off area, any fooling around will result in a penalty or a suspension.

4. List of Penalties

4.1) A drive-through penalty. The driver must enter the pit lane and re-join the race without stopping.

4.2) A stop and go 10 second penalty. The driver must enter the pit lane, stop at his pit for at least ten seconds and then re-join the race.

4.3) A time penalty.

4.4) A drop of any number of grid positions at the driver’s next Event.

4.5) Exclusion from the results.

4.6) Suspension from the driver’s next Event

5. Overtaking

5.1) Maneuvers liable to hinder other drivers, such as more than one change of direction to defend a position, deliberate crowding of a car beyond the edge of the track or any other abnormal change of direction, is not allowed.

5.2) As soon as a driver is caught by another driver which is about to lap during the race, the driver must allow the faster driver past at the first available opportunity. If the driver who has been caught does not allow the faster driver past, a blue flags will be said to indicate that he must allow the following driver to pass, If not it’s a delay of race penalty

5.3) If someone is faster than you on a corner than let them pass you don’t try to hinder them.

5.4) Wall-usage or mongoose grinding is not tolerated.

5.5) Late braking is allowed but very risky but legal.

5.6) Cuting off people is not tolerated

5.7) Drafting is legal but yet very risky

5.8) Crossovers are legal, but highly risky

6. Pre Race Lobby

6.1) Lobbies will be made 30mins before the race either by Vvt3hJoShn3ss95 or

chillybob.

6.2) You can join while qualifying or practice but it’s closed during the race.

6.3) Racing Colors are not mandatory, at this point….

6.4) No one is allowed to be annoying or playing music though their mic etc.

6.5)All other HALOTRACKS RACING RULES APPLY

7. Penalties

7. ) A drive-through penalty. The driver must enter the pit lane and re-join the race without stopping.

7.2) A ten second time penalty. The driver must enter the pit lane, stop at his pit for at least ten seconds and then re-join the race.

7.3) A time penalty.

7.4) A drop of any number of grid positions at the driver’s next Event

Exclusion from the results.

7.5) Suspension from the driver’s next Event.

8. Pitting System

8.1) In F1, all drivers must pit between 15/45 to 20/60 laps, but your first pit can be on any laps after lap 1/3

8.2) You cannot pit on the last lap of the race.

8.3) Black flag pits don’t count towards your pits.

8.4) When you enter pit road there will be a green line or a line on the road, this means that you must stop and maintain a speed limit between at 40 and 50KPH

8.5) When you pit in pit row you can cut one to get in and cut one to get out, if they are not occupied. You must stay on the Coliseum wall and then move into the Ramps in Pit road.

8.6) When you come out, you must still be maintaining a speed limit between 40-50KPH,

8.7) Continue driving at that limit until you see a line at the exit once you pass that line you can start accelerating.

8.8.) No Impeding(blocking) or speeding in pit row

9. Qualifying

9.1) Racing color must be ON when qualifying

9.2) everyone must go in pit and wait to be called up for qualifying.

9.3) 1 PRACTISE LAP, 1 RACE LAP. IF YOU SCREW UP CONTINUE RACING!

9.4) No Cheating

9.5) No CONTACT

9.6) No CORNER DIVING

9.7) No CORNER CUTTING

9.8) Wrecking Other Drivers

9.9) No DEMO BLOCKING

9.10) No Driving backwards

9.11) No Using the Run-offs as an Advantage

9.12) You can take breaks before/after qualifying we will just skip your turn in the qualifying

10. Reports

10.1) These are only for complains in the race like getting wrecked by an opposing driver or think if someone is suspected cheating.

11.1) To send the report, say what happened, who did this, and the video on your fileshare on halo.

11.2) If I get the report after I post and update the standings then the report is invalid.

11. Run-off Policies

11.1) Two tires on the Lanes are legal

11.2) Cutting the track is when 4 tires are over the line or two tires are off the track and on the line

11.3) Only used for avoiding wrecks and collisions with people

11.4) Only used when forced out of the racing line by a driver

11.5) Drivers must use the track at all times. The lines defining the track edges

are considered to be part of the track but the rumble strips are not.

12. Start and Parking

12.1) S and P is when you qualifying for a race and you have to leave by going into the pits and claim your last place position in the race aka Retirement ex.

12.2) This would only work if the race had less than 10 people. Only top 10 get points in the standings

12.3) If you quit out on the track it wont count as a start and park it it will be a DNF

Should a driver leave the track for any reason the driver may rejoin. However, this may only be done when it is safe to do so and without gaining any advantage.

Substitute drivers

12.1) Subs are allowed to race as long as they get permission by team to race for somebody

12.2) All their point standings will go to the absent driver

12.3) If the absent driver is inactive for 2-5 races then the sub will be a permanent driver for the season.

12.4) Subs must be sign up in the HT F1 Member List.

It will be too hard to regulate what is an acceptable speed in the Pit Lane, so I don't understand why you should make a rule against full throttle. It is the only fair way to do it because it is hard to keep a steady speed meaning someone will always be going faster than someone else.

Well maybe there could be speed bumps in the pits so if they go too fast they will flip or overshoot their pit

You can regulate the speed, and you can see the speed someone is going. I'm sure if you jump over the speed just a bit (for a second), he won't penalize you (Adrenaline won't). And you can't pass in pits so if someone is slower than you, you must slow down

And josh, please make a key for some of your abbreviations and use better grammar :p haha
