Map Name: Impact

Supported Gametypes: RACETRACKS, Hardcore Racing

Description: This is an amazing aesthetic hardcore Christmas themed map made by our very own Head Journalist, Masta Hippie! This track is the winner of my CoookkieMonster's Christmas Forging Challenge. This track features a large fun jump and a large hardcore sky section with a mirrored split section that goes identically to the left and the right. The scenery includes a pixel art (base shield creation) of Santa, a snowman, a Christmas tree, two snowflakes, a giant reindeer, and the word "XMAS" written in shadows, a technique created by Jeffh3962. This map supports both of Mastas gametypes, RACETRACKS and Hardcore Racing, but as a hardcore track, this one is mostly meant for the hardcore gametype. Congratulations to Masta Hippie on winning his fourth feature on HaloTracks!

Interview

What inspired your creation?
Christmas and Jeff's godliness. Seriously, he invented shadow writing.

About how long did it take you to create?
Quite a while because my tv was broken so I was using an old tv to forge. It kept automatically switching between AV and TV every few seconds and the menu kept popping up. I had to put it on the correct AV channel and then forge a tiny bit before it switched again. Also the only way I could change the AV channel was by turning the tv on and off.

What aspect took the longest to get right?
The split section because it is mirrored exactly.

Yay! This won the christmas contest! This is one of my favorite christmas and overall maps there is. It's fun to play and all my friends loved it and downloaded it.

Oh Masta, I'm only a supreme being 6 days of the week. Srrsly though, this track deserves every feature it can get! Very aesthetically pleasing with some of the Masta Humor you come to expect on any of his tracks. An added plus is that it's the foyst Hahdcore track in Halo 4!

Yeah I didn't realize that, awesome! Amazing track Masta, as soon as I saw this one I knew it was going to win; it definitely deserves the feature.
