So last time I got new members for my YouTube channel I asked for one video a week, and I got one every two months. I need someone who can ACTUALLY help and make videos. So the DRL videos take forever to make, especially with the editing software that came with my new capture card (it's EXTREMELY slow), so I have very little time to do map reviews. If anyone who can record good video quality and make GOOD commentaries wants to help me make map reviews I could probably use the help. Let me know.

Btw I'm not looking for someone to do reviews exactly; reviews are when you showcase any map, good or bad, and critique it. I'm looking for someone to do map features of really good maps, and defend why they're good by pointing out it's qualities (and mentioning any small issues). That's the way I always do my showcases of others maps, they're more features than reviews.

I'll do it. Although i might take like a couple days to set up my Capture Card.
EDIT: Actually... nah. Sorry Coookkie, but I want to do things for my channel. As awesome as your channel is, I am kinda more of an independent person.

I want to start making videos since I won Adobe Production Premium software (2nd place in a national animation/digital video competition) that I have never used. But I don't know yet if I'm good at commentary and I'll probably end up as one of those every 2 month people because I'm busy and I only do things when I'm motivated. I will make a few videos to see how I do. I would be keen to do some kind of monthly top 10 HT tracks though. Feel free to steal that idea if you want.

I really want to do video reviews with Cassel ranting. That videos would be epic lol.

You should focus on map reviews instead of the DRL videos. Usually only the DRL racers are interested in the DRL tournament videos (i.e. the minority of your subscribers).

If I'm getting a capture card (Looking like it now :D). Then I would be happy to help you, Coookkie. I think I can give good constructive criticism on maps and I know a lot about Halo racetracks. Also I think my vocabulary is now advanced enough so I can tell what I'm actually thinking in Dutch. Also I have no accent :D, people often mistake me for a " 'Murican ". I'm already practicing the basic video editing stuff and that won't be a problem. Also I have some really cool ideas but I don't want to share them because people might use it before I do lol. FYI the capture card I will be getting is the same as yours. I was looking at that one and decided on it the day before you posted about Jeff giving it to you lol. When I get my capture card I think I will make a map review as some sort of audition and you could check it out and see if it's good enough. I completely understand if you don't think I'm good enough for the job. Also I think I could make 1 video a week on a regular basis.

It's a shame I have none of the equipment for it, because I have plenty of time to do things. I also don't have a channel of my own, so I wouldn't be trying to advertise my own channel then scram on you.

Maybe when I get around to replacing this Laptop for a PC, I'll have a go.

YES! I'd love to Coookkie!!! I already do reviews on my channel so you can check out how good I am, but yeah, if you need someone, I'd be able to make lots of videos! I already do about 1 a day for my channel, so I could easily do 2 a week or probably more for you :D I already have all the equipment and software as well :D

EDIT: Also, yeah, the Roxio software is horrible. Movie Maker is far better from my experience! The Roxio software freezes for 5 seconds every time you do something, I tried to use it once but it was unbearable. If you need help with the capture card / software or anything I'd be willing to help you there too :D

Also, did I mention that I'd love to help make some map reviews for PFR? :D

I experienced the same thing with the Roxio editing software! But when I add my Roxio recorded clips into Movie Maker it acts weird sort of, so now DRL videos take 8 hours as opposed to like 30 minutes. I don't understand how someone who makes such a nice capture card makes such a horrible and slow editing program.

Seconded! Also, sometimes the software just doesn't capture, e.g. when I recorded the Never Ending Duels #1 I had to record it 3 times, so it took 3 hours... And the editing software is just baaaad. And sometimes the files just don't import sometimes, and I just can't get Premiere Pro to work at all.

It's having trouble importing the .m2ts files, I only tried it a few days ago, so I'll play about with it, but I want to start using it and AE.

EDIT: Also, NOM!

I couldn't get premiere pro to work either. I got to one point and it wouldn't let me get past that.

IDK, I managed to convert the file to .mp4 and import it, but that took an hour for a 5 min video so I don't want to be doing that. If I figure something out I'll be sure to let you know! :D

What kind of hardware you have in your machine and the basic technical specifications of that hardware. Premiere Pro uses a sophisticated engine called Mercury. Your PC has to be a little above the minimum specifications to run it smoothly. There's really only a handful of engines better than Mercury.

I'm assuming that mine isn't terribly fancy. It let me download it fine, and my code worked, but then there was an issue after that; maybe I can try and find something else. I just need something basic, but something faster than the Roxio VideoWave; I'm sure I'll find something.

I'm no advocate of this program... In fact, I tell people to stray away from it as much as possible... but try Sony Vegas. It's lightweight, but pales in comparison to the raw powah of Premiere Pro.

I have tried Premiere Pro and I've seen videos of Sony Vegas. And I think Sony Vegas is way better for me lol. Mainly because there were some terms I did not quite understand in Premiere Pro. I will also give that a try since I can only make poopoo stuff in Premiere Pro.
