Race will commence at the designated time. The race lobby opens 10 minutes prior. Being late equals missing the race.

Rules:

These rules apply during all tournaments:

-No intentional wrecking. If someone accuses someone, we will review it.

-Any major annoyances such as going backwards will result in a DNF for that person without warning.

-No whining or having meltdowns. Handle all problems maturely.

-HT Grand Prix has a Blue Flag flag rule. This means that if a racer is being lapped, the racer must pull over and let the leaders pass. If the leader does not call a Blue Flag, then the lapped racer does not have to pull over. If the lapped racer ignores the leader call Blue Flag, then the leading rider gains the ability to Intentionally Wreck the interfering racer.

-Calling a false Blue Flag to pass and/or wreck an opposing rider will result in an immediate 3 race suspension and a -10 deduction on your Leaderboard Standings. The racer victim of the False Blue Flag gains +2 points for that race.

-Intentionally wrecking is not allowed. Type of wrecking are listed below:

Minor Intentional Wreck: Ruled by when a rider causes another rider to flip, however no major loss in position occurs. This results in a -1 for the causing rider and a +1 for the wrecked rider.

Major Intentional Wreck: Ruled by when a rider flips another rider, however a major loss in position occurs. This results in a -2 for the causing rider and a +2 for the wrecked rider.

The only exception for wrecking is when a Blue Flagged rider is not pulling over. However, the rider that is lapping the other must be completely sure that both parties understood that one was being lapped. Wrecked Blue Flagged riders will still go under review; however, in a separate way.

-If you feel you were the victim of a wreck, send the host a message after the race with what lap you were on and who it was that wrecked you. Important: Race Hosts do not have to review a wreck if they did not receive a message.

-Make room for other racers around you.

-If you are wrecked, knocked off of the track or have your race impeded in anyway, you must keep racing. Stopping to wait for the racer in front of you to pass you again does not grant you your previous position back and you will instead remain on the same lap that you waited on. If you were wrecked, then standard wrecking rules still apply to both the offender and victim.

Grand Prix Rules:

. There will be no spawn and go starts to the races. Many of this seasons tracks have starting gates. On the ones that do not, the race will only start when the division manager says go, or a timed event takes place, I.E. a timed fusion coil explosion, or the managers mongoose de-spawning in front of the start line.

2. Cautions. In a GP race if two or more drivers have wrecked, and have come to a complete stop a caution, will be called by the manager, and only by the manager. In the case of a caution drivers will race to, but not pass the lap finish checkpoint, and come to a complete stop. They will line up 3 wide in the order they arrive and wait for the official to restart the race.

- The official will determine the driver responsible for the caution, that driver will be issued a warning. If a driver causes 3 cautions in a race they will be disqualified, and score no points.

- If it is unclear who caused the caution to the official, the driver will be allowed to finish the race, and the official will make the final decision by watching the race film. If the official decides to DQ the driver all the drivers who finished behind the disqualified driver will move up one place in the race results.

- A caution will also be called in the case of extreme lag, or if the game goes to black screen.

3. Every driver finishes the race. The race game type will be set for more laps than we will actually drive. The finish will be determined by the drivers score. All the tracks have either 2, or 10 checkpoints to make this easy.

- When a driver finishes the race they must pull off the track and, make no attempt to interfere with the drivers still racing. Doing so will result in a disqualification.

4. Keep racing! If a race official determines that a driver in the race has given up on the race and is remaining on the track for the sake of interfering with the other drivers. They will receive a flagrant disqualification. This means they will be booted from the race, and loose 8 points from their season total. If a driver receives 3 flagrant DQs in a season they will be booted from the division, and the league.

5. Stop and Go Penalty's. Many of the tracks we will be racing on are cheatable. On all the tracks the path meant to be raced on is obvious. If a driver is caught with all 4 wheels off the track attempting to cut a corner, they will be issued a stop and go penalty. In which case the driver must pull off the track at the nearest possible place, and come to a complete stop. Then wait for the official to give them the go ahead to continue racing. Refusing to comply with a stop and go penalty will result in a disqualification, and the driver will score no points.

- If a driver makes an attempt to bypass a large section of the track they will receive a flagrant DQ. Its one thing to try and cut inside of another driver on a corner and wind up off the track, it is blatant cheating to try and go off road and skip major sections of the track.

If you race clean and make no attempts to cheat you will have no problems with these rules. If you can not race with rules then you are in the wrong racing league.
