Uploading from Twitch to Youtube?

4 posts in this topic

If anyone has any knowledge or experience with this i would like some assistance, or answer to my question. Is it possible to upload Twitch videos directly to Youtube, in some way? Like say I were to start a Twitch broadcast for a map feature or race event, then stop the broadcast and archive the video on my Twitch channel; would I then be able to upload it to YouTube from Twitch without using any sort of capture card or recording device like a camera (since I don't have either to use for this scenario)? I do have my Xbone.

Was just wondering if it's possible because I thought about it for future forge contests as a prize.

I'm fairly sure there is a way of doing it. I don't have any videos on my Twitch so I can't test it, but if you go to http://www.twitch.tv/settings/connections, you can link your YouTube channel to your Twitch account. Then there should be a way to export your Twitch archives to YouTube.

You can also use an unofficial Twitch video downloader, and upload those videos to YouTube, but that could take a while, depending on your internet speed and the video length/quality.

EDIT: Yep, that photo Swat posted is the page I was talking about.
